Mandarava: Dakini of Wisdom, Knowledge & Awareness
Mandarava was an 8th century princess who left home and renounced her birthright to practice the Dharma. She became one of the two main disciple consorts of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) and ultimately became one a dakini of wisdom, knowledge and awareness. She is hailed as Machig Drupa Gyalmo, "Singular Queen Mother of Attainment", because she attained full enlightenment alongside her consort in the famed Maratika Cave in Nepal. In this first session, Lama Lena explores Mandarava’s essence as the creative energy of all Buddhas. She also discusses rebirth, consort yoga, and Mandarava’s connection to the energy of the secret chakra.
